Kids fitness challenge
A daily challenge for your child, counted by Jym, with a reward you choose.
How it works
- Add your child. A nickname and an age band. No email.
- Pick the exercises and a daily target: push-ups, squats, sit-ups, or the ones you allow.
- Pair their own phone or tablet with a 6-digit code, or hand them yours.
- They count with the camera. You see the day, and how close they are to the reward.
You're in control
- Restricted or Full access. You choose the exercises, the target, and whether an extra set is allowed.
- Remove their device any time. The pairing code stops working.
- A PIN to leave kid mode. They stay in the session you set until you enter it.
- Nothing to buy from a kid profile. Checkout, gifts and billing stay on your account.
Rewards you choose
The reward is up to you: a film, a park, pocket money you already give them. You type it in. You hand it over when the challenge is done. Jym never handles money.
Private by design
- Nickname and age band only. No email or login for your child.
- Never on leaderboards or public pages. Their reps stay on your account.
- Video stays on the device. The camera counts there. We do not receive the picture.
Why it helps
The NHS says children and young people aged 5 to 18 should “aim for an average of at least 60 minutes of moderate or vigorous intensity physical activity a day across the week”.

What age is it for?
6 to 17. You pick an age band when you add your child. They use your account. They do not get one of their own.
Does my child need their own account or email?
No. A nickname and an age band are enough. There is no email and no login for them.
Can my child use their own phone or tablet?
Yes. Pair it with a code, with no email or login, and remove it any time.
Does Jym upload video of my child?
No. The camera counts on the device. The video stays there.
Can my child buy anything?
No. A child profile cannot open checkout, gifts or billing.

Does kid mode lock the phone?
No. It locks Jym to your settings, so use Screen Time or Google Family Link for the phone.
